PMB 2007 results released

The new Print Measurement Bureau (PMB) results for 2007 have been released, with data on total readership and reader-per-copy. The results are based on rolling two-year data for the period between October 2004 and September 2006. You can get the topline results here. We will burrow into them and comment later.

A little bit of a bloodbath if you ask me.

In total, all English magazines measured in both the 2006 and 2007 PMB studies lost over 4.5 million readers aged 12+ between studies. The % drop in readership for English magazines is 5%.

Only 10 of the 61 English magazines measured in both studies experienced an increase in readership.
