Quote, unquote: Ad sales looking up for the big books

"We're seeing a moving recovery in the ad market. Advertisers are spending more on print, especially in beauty and packaged goods."
-- Michael Cllinton, Hearst Magazine's chief marketing officer, commenting in Forbes on the 17% jump in ad sales in May for 13 of Hearst's main titles such as Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, Oprah and House Beautiful.
