US magazine (er, media) association MPA names former RDA pres Berner as its own
The Association of Magazine Media (which, paradoxically, retains its MPA "magazine" acronym) has named Mary G. Berner to take over as president and CEO, replacing Nina Link. Berner left Reader's Digest Association in 2011, where she was president and CEO and oversaw bankruptcy and major staff cuts. She had previously been CEO of Fairchild Publishing and the publisher of Glamour and TV Guide.
